Caring for leather footwear is a relatively simple process. First clean the shoes with a leather cleaner to remove any surface dirt, for shoes that are badly scuffed, use a renovating polish such as waproo to help restore the colour. Then, apply a good quality cream polish which contains lanolin to keep the leather soft and supple.

Suede and Nubuck

The key to keeping these materials in good condition is preventive maintenance. Before you wear the shoes,protect them with a water and stain repellent such as Collonil waterstop spray.

Use a suede brush regulary to remove surface dirt and restore the nap, however take care when brushing the nubuck as it is softer then suede. If you get minor spots and stains, try to remove them immediately with a cleaning block such as Tania Magic Bloc.
