We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our 'Take A Walk In Our Shoes' campaign and the unveiling of the limited-edition Klouds Cara Kard sneaker collection.
THE ARTIST
PETER FARMER
Peter Farmer is an acclaimed Noongar artist from WA whose art captures the spirit of Aboriginal culture. Peter Farmer’s art has been represented in numerous international galleries, including the Art Gallery of WA.
In addition, Peter Farmer has collaborated with international brands such as Jimmy Choo.
Some of Peter Farmer’s work includes:
▪️Developing a couture shoe and dress for Jimmy Choo.
▪️Designing t-shirts for the band Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres Tour.
▪️Designing jerseys for the West Coast Eagles and the Western Force.
▪️Designing sculptures around Perth.
▪️Art installations for corporate offices and buildings.
THE ARTWORK
'MOUNTAINS'
With Noongar symbols and iconography, the ‘Mountains’ artwork represents connection and layers of stories, depicting the Past, Present and Future.
The circles illustrate generations, while surrounding symbols and journey lines (Biddi's) signify the community, highlighting the mountains we strive to overcome and the paths we share throughout life's journey.
